How to Get Board Members Involved in Fundraising

It is not uncommon for nonprofits to have board members—or even entire boards—who simply do not want to fundraise. Yet, as fundraising is an essential part of keeping your nonprofit alive and prospering, it is a necessary task. While some nonprofits decide to fundraise without their boards, fundraising is one of the main responsibilities of a nonprofit board member, and they should ALL be participating. In order to get board members involved in fundraising, all you have to do is approach them the correct way. This includes giving board members the proper tasks to engage them.
